Terms of Service

By using Mistfall Logs, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.

Mistfall Logs is an independent, fan-made community tool for players of Mistfall Hunter. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Bellring Games or Valve Corporation, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All game names, trademarks, and assets referenced belong to their respective owners.

Mistfall Logs parses combat log files you upload to extract match, character, and combat statistics, then displays them to you and to the wider community. Match records are a shared, public community feed by design — see section 5.

Access is currently gated by a passphrase. Don't share it outside the group it was given to, and don't use it to give access to anyone we haven't invited.

You're responsible for the log files you upload. Combat logs contain other real players, and uploading one publishes their in-game names and match outcomes as community records.

By uploading, you agree that you will not

• Upload files you don’t have the right to share, or that you did not generate yourself by playing.
• Upload fabricated or hand-edited logs in order to inflate statistics or create fake players.
• Upload anything that isn't a genuine Mistfall Hunter .log file, including malicious content disguised as one.
• Use uploaded data to harass, dox, stalk, or target another player.

We may remove content, unlink records, or suspend accounts that break these rules. If you appear in someone else's uploaded match and want those records removed, contact us.

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent rate limits on the service.
• Scrape the site or its API at abusive volume, or resell access to the data.
• Attempt to access accounts, records, or endpoints that aren’t yours.
• Impersonate another player, or claim characters that aren’t yours.

Accounts are tied to your Steam identity. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which also lets you export your data first. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback button, it is delivered to our private team channel. Don't include anything confidential. By sending a suggestion, you allow us to act on it and build it without owing you compensation or attribution.

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Parsed statistics are derived from client-side game logs and may be incomplete or inaccurate — a log only records what your game client actually witnessed, so outcomes after you die or disconnect are genuinely unknown to it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mistfall Logs and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data or inaccurate statistics.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
